We encourage our customers with questions regarding their own health to address these questions with their own physician or other health care providers. Health and Fitness Meals does not make medical claims about the benefit of our products to improve any particular medical condition. Pregnant and lactating women should always consult with their health care professional before using dietary supplements.

Although the Personalized Nutrition Plans and food recommendations have been certified through a Registered Dietitian they have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. These recommendations are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any diseases. Every individual is responsible for their own health and lifestyle choices. Therefore our product does not guarantee any desired weight loss, weight gain, or physical change.The changes are dependent based off of the effort each client puts into following our steps to success.

Shipping & Delivery

*We do not Ship Food Products.  

We do pick ups from our Kitchen in Murray, Utah on Wednesdays only.  If you miss the pick up day we will freeze your meals till the following week or you can pay a standard $20 fee for our staffs time and travel to meet you at our kitchen on the days we are closed.

Health and Fitness Meals subcontracts a delivery company that charges a standard rate per mile round trip to your door and back.  

Note: We do not make any profits from deliveries

HFM “Keep it Cool” Delivery Totes:

*It is required that you purchase at least 1 HFM “Keep it Cool” tote for your deliveries.  You can exchange your empty bag with a new one that your meals are being delivered in every week for a quick easy exchange.

*Each cooler tote holds 15 meal containers (if you order more meals you may need to purchase 2 bags).

* Clients will receive an email back with their delivery quote and can decided wether or not to accept the delivery fee on so they can unload your meals and hand them to you (you will want to have fridge space immediately available for the exchange).

*Cooler Totes are not recommended long term storage units.  Food should be returned to refrigerator temperatures within 2 hours.

Food Quality:

*If any of your meals are broken open/damaged from our kitchen to your home (on the fault of the driver) they will inform us and we will make sure you are reimbursed for those meals.

*As soon as your meals are delivered and the driver leaves we are no longer responsible for your meal quality. You need to be available for your delivery times to receive your meals and get your meals refrigerated as soon as possible.

Delivery Routes:

*You can get on a Delivery Route by adding Delivery to your order before you check out.

*Delivery Routes have a Standard fee of $19.99 for anywhere within Salt Lake County and $29.99 for anywhere north in Weber or Davis county or south is Utah County.

*Delivery Routes are established North and South of the Kitchen proximal to I-15 during standard delivery times on Wednesday for a discounted rate.  (If you are requesting delivery outside of these locations and times your delivery quote will be higher and based off of mileage and pay for a single stop.))

Delivery Times:

*Once again, our driver does not get paid for their time but by mile.  If you leave them waiting on you or they takes additional time to help load your meals understand that this is “off the clock.”  They may appreciate a tip for these additional services.

Custom Delivery:

*Quotes will vary from one address to another address and deliveries will not be able to be made during standard high traffic hours.

* Clients will receive an email back with their delivery quote and can decided wether or not to accept the delivery fee.

*Health and Fitness Meals will then contact our drivers and attempt to find someone to take the delivery.  Because all custom ‘off-route’ opportunities will have to be requested to our drivers to be filled the client inquiring should understand that no one may be available for the job.  If the client requires delivery they may want to confirm the custom delivery request before they place their order.

Cost, Cancelations & Refunds

Food Prep Services: The cost of Food Prep orders includes the fully cooked and weight out portions of food, and the food containers. 

Our Service Pricing that is listed on our website after you select exactly want to order.  The cost of Food varies for the custom food prep plans because each person is different based off of body type for their calorie/macro-nutrient intake.  However, all meals typically range between $7-$12 per meal (not including delivery fees).

All orders are due 6 days in advance of the food prep day (by Thursday Night at midnight for the following week).

You cannot cancel your order after Sunday because you food has already been ordered, paid for, and has started to be prepped.

There are no refunds once food has been ordered.  

*$20 Order Processing Fee is non-refundable for all orders.

*All services are non-refundable after they have already been provided or 7 days grace period to report any issues(whatever comes first).

*Every client is responsible for their own safe food transportation and storage after their meals leave our possession. Health and Fitness Meals does not take responsibility for failure to store food at appropriate temperatures in the refrigerator or failure to freeze meals before the 5 day expiration. Health and Fitness Meals is not responsible for any sickness resulting from eating meals after expiration, poor handling, or spoilage .

Auto Order

Health and Fitness Meals offers auto order options for your convenience so you don’t have to remember to reorder every week.  

Auto Order Set Up Options:

  • We save your order history and preferences and repeat your order portions and quantity of meals to repeat on a weekly basis.
  • Auto Orders occur on the same food prep day every week (pick a day and stay on that day).
  • Auto payments will be charged on the Tuesday before your pick up day with credit card on file.

       

Menu Request Options:

         a) Submit your food preferences and let us pick your meals for you every week.

         b) Submit your weekly menu requests every week online (by the weekly order deadline)

         c) Submit your menu requests for the whole month upfront online when we send out the whole          months menu at the beginning of the month. 

Auto Pause:

  • If you are going out of town or want to pause your order for any reason we just need 6 days’ notice (when order requests are due).
  • We can automatically set up your auto order to continue at the date you desire so you don’t have to remember to manually restart your order.

*We do not recommend sending a text or an email because we cannot guarantee it was received.

  • Order Pauses cannot be accepted verbally or via text because it cannot be guaranteed that the request will not be misplaced.
  • Late Pauses (after 6 days noticed) will be charged a $20 late cancellation fee. This is because the menu totals have already been finalized and we have to pay our menu planner to physically go back on the menu and redo all the totals for the day.
  • Pauses cannot be accepted after the Sunday before your prep day because there is no time to redo the menu totals and food has already been ordered or prepared.

Auto Order Cancellation:

  • If you want to cancel your order for any reason we just need 6 days’ notice (when order requests are due).

Card Payments:

  • Auto Order client is responsible for keeping card on file updated if it is canceled or expired.
  • Auto Order client is responsible to make up any failed payments or error code charges missed their account.

Preparation

Our Kitchen actively stores and handles the preparation of Milk, Eggs, Fish, Shellfish, Nuts and other allergens.  We openly disclose that we are not an allergen free kitchen.  Not only do we lease our space and have no control over what food items are prepared in our kitchen when we are not there but we also personally prepare many of the major allergy sourced food items. By using our service, our clients, understand that we work hard to keep separate hazardous food items, but acknowledge that they may still be at risk for any allergic reactions to any allergies listed (or not listed) under their food personal preferences.
